This 1960s Daybed, designed by the multi-award-winning Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø, is a prime example of his quintessential Scandinavian style. Known for his focus on natural, organic forms and artisanal craftsmanship, Illum Wikkelsø used high-quality materials in his designs. He was often commissioned by the Danish government to create exhibits for national and international design showcases.
Crafted from Brazilian Rosewood, radio-weave rattan, and upholstered cushions, this daybed showcases Illum's exceptional quality of work. The cushions have been recently reupholstered in Kelvin 'Mustang' fabric by Zepel.
